SKAL Samui has launched a new tourism recovery initiative under the banner #RediscoverSamui … and prepare to fall in love. The campaign which is being driven by members of the Koh Samui chapter of the global hospitality and travel organization SKAL International, underscores the organisation’s mission ‘Connecting Global Tourism’.A key element of the campaign is a series of new videos showcasing the best that the island offers and notably some of the new hospitality, lifestyle and nature experiences to be found on the island. The new video will be made available to all SKAL member hotels as well as partners in this initiative. Also part of the campaign with be an ongoing programme media, bloggers and influencer visits to the island for a product updates. In spite of the global pandemic and its devastating effect on the island’s tourism industry, Koh Samui is emerging from months of curfew which saw the closure of almost all hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars and such, determined to maximize on the domestic tourism potential.
